In 2013, CoreMedical Group helped to make days a little brighter for children and veterans by donating to the Chloe Care Project, The Wish Project's Birthday Bag Project, and the Veteran's Medical Center in Manchester, NH.
Chloe Cares Project
Quarter 1 - January 2013

The Chloe Cares Project is a concept the Tierney's came up with as parents who were thrown into the world of hospital living when Chloe was born. When people are facing any length hospital stay they often forget the necessities, like a toothbrush, a brush, or deodorant. They are no longer necessities as your biggest concern isn't showering; it's making sure your child is as happy as possible and just living minute by minute. However, it is nice to brush your teeth every now and then and when you have forgotten a toothbrush; you may not have a chance to get out to get one. So here is our concept, a reusable tote bag that contains some travel hygiene items that will create a welcome bag into a world that is so unwelcoming. So here is how we figure the concept can work, using funds raised in the Chloe Tierney Benefit Fund, and donations of items, we will fill these bags and give them to new families when they are admitted. Chloe Cares Project is also currently collecting PJ's for Chloe's Pajama Party! All PJ's collected will be given to the infants, toddlers, kids, and teens that are admitted to The Neeley Pediatric Bone Marrow Transplant Unit at the Floating Hospital for Children.
The Wish Project - Birthday Bag Project
Quarter 2 - April 2013

Every child deserves a birthday cake! Help a needy child in the Merrimack Valley to have a happy birthday. So many children in need in our area watch their birthdays go by without a cake and presents. Food pantries rarely have cake mixes and frosting and things like horns and hats are just not in the budget. You can help by making up birthday bags containing all the essentials for a birthday party; cake mix, frosting, hats, horns, party favors, balloons, candles, candy, table cloth, plates, utensils, juice boxes and a gift. Your birthday bag will ensure that some needy child will get to have a birthday party.
Veteran's Medical Center - Manchester, NH
Quarter 4 - October 2013

Honoring America’s Veterans with quality health care services, part of the largest integrated health care system in the U.S.
We all have many reasons to THANK a VETERAN! Some veterans might be as close to you as our father, mother, husband, wife, sister, brother, aunt, uncle, friend, co-worker or neighbor. Regardless of our immediate relationship to any veteran we all have a reason to THANK a veteran for their sacrifices and commitment to the USA! CoreMedical chose to support the Manchester, NH Veteran's Medical Center and their fight against homelessness of our veterans. The experience of becoming homeless can be an isolating and degrading experience. The items we collected not only helped the veterans of New Hampshire in their new home, but provided some reassurance that people do care and that there is help available.
