In 2016, CoreMedical Group participated in the Teens for Jeans Donation Drive and gathered much needed monetary and product donations for our local addiction and recovery centers and the United Way of Southeast Louisiana.
CoreMedical Group employees also participated in First Aid/CPR/AED certification through the American Red Cross, and took this opportunity to offer blood and monetary donations to the organization as well!
Teens for Jeans Donation Drive
Quarter 1 - January 2016

With over a million young people experiencing homelessness each year, and jeans being the most requested item by homeless youth, our jeans donation drive had a huge impact in helping local teens.
Our employees collected over 630 pairs of jeans during our January collection drive! The hundreds of jeans were donated to two local homeless shelters. Ruth's House is located in Haverhill, Massachusetts and The Lazarus House is located in Lawrence, Massachusetts. Both shelters are just over the state line from our former office location in Salem, New Hampshire.

Quarter 2 - March 2016

During our 2nd quarter, CoreMedical Group employees gathered supplies and donations based on wish lists from our local addiction and recovery resources Hope on Haven Hill, The Psychological Center, and the Merrimack Valley Prevention and Substance Abuse Project (MVPASAP).
We donated everything from linens and towels, to diapers and baby supplies, to personal hygiene items totalling over $6,900! In addition to all of the wishlist items, the CoreMedical Group company matched that amount with cash donations to the three organizations, resulting in over $13,900 in total donations!
Hope On Haven Hill is a residential recovery facility for pregnant women and their babies, for up to one year postpartum. The facility, which recently opened its doors to its first residents in December 2016, is located in Rochester, New Hampshire.
The Psychological Center operates a network of programs for men and women across the Merrimack Valley, all helping those who are experiencing mental health, substance or alcohol abuse, addiction, homelessness, and other issues.
Merrimack Valley Prevention and Substance Abuse Project (MVPASAP) promotes public awareness for the prevention and treatment of substance abuse in our communities through education, community partnerships, advocacy, and recovery support programs.
American Red Cross
Quarter 3 - July 2016
Our 3rd quarter participation with the American Red Cross was incredible, with 95.8% employee participation in just one and a half weeks! Employees were offered three opportunities to participate in this quarter’s charity initiative: get certified in First Aid/CPR/AED, give blood, and/or donate funds.
This quarter, 24 employees signed up for First Aid/CPR/AED certification, a total of 18 pints of blood were donated, and over $4,000 of monetary donations were given in support of the Red Cross' local community and national relief efforts.
United Way of Southeast Louisiana
Quarter 4 - October 2016
Surpassing our initial 4th quarter goals, employees at CoreMed once again came through for those in need during October's charity drive - this time offering a total donation worth over $10,000 to the United Way of Southeast Louisiana!
The Core family donated $6,200 worth of much needed items to the United Way of Southeast Louisiana via an Amazon.com wishlist after rising flood waters continued to impact residents. In addition to the employees' generosity, the CoreMedical Group company matched the wishlist donations with a monetary donation. This brought the value of our Core Cares 4th quarter efforts to over $12,400!
